NFL Awards My Picks

MVP
Philip Rivers QB San diego Chargers
TD's 32 INT 11 Yards 3802 Rating 104.0

Rivers has had his best year yet in the NFL this year and deserves this award. He has thrown more Touchdowns then Kurt Warner, Drew Brees, and Peyton Manning. He has also had a higher passer rating then the at 104.0. His Interceptions were one of the lowest in the league and passed for 3800 yards in 15 weeks. Even with Tomilson playing poorly, the Chargers could still be in the playoffs and Rivers is the Reason why.

Rookie of the Year
Matt Ryan QB Atlanta Falcons
TD's 15 Int 9 Yards 3280 Rating 89.7

Matt Ryan came to a team that won 4 games last year, lost it's Franchise QB, and the coach bailed on late in the season. Despite all of this Ryan and Turner pulled the Atlanta Falcons to a 10-5 record through 15 games and locked a wild card slot as well. Ryan is the future of the NFL and will be a contender next year for MVP.

Defensive Player
DeMarcus Ware OLB Dallas Cowboys
Tackels 80 Sacks 20 FF 6 Int 0

Despite a horific season for Dallas, DeMarcus Ware has been fantstic. Shuting down almost every offense he has faced. With a league high 20 sacks Ware lead the cowboys to wins over last years superbowl winners,Giants, and the Washington Redskins 'Run' offense. the cowboys need luck to make it to the playoffs but next week Ware will lead his 'Boys to Phili, and hope for a win against the red hot Eagles.
